Re: Qustion about receiver hitch addition

Just a heads up if you want to save a little money. The extra relay has a list price of 56 bucks! I printed up the order page for extra relay from courtesyparts.com which would sell it for $27 and showed it to my local nissan parts department (Gardena Nissan) and he honored that price.

Re: Qustion about receiver hitch addition

Can somebody post some numbers/manufacturer for those relays? Can't see diddley in the photos. Maybe we can find a non-nissan source for an equivalent relay much cheaper.

I would ask your dealer about this before you volunteer your money.

I am a Nissan employee. You need two blue trailer lh and rh relays, they are the same. only on 06 titans and up.

Re: Qustion about receiver hitch addition

I just Purchased an '07 Titan SE CC. Put a Hidden Hitch on it and a plug in Adaptor to the stock plug in the rear and have all working lights...never put Relays in....Is it still needed?

Re: Qustion about receiver hitch addition

you have to look to see if all the relays are there, but if you lights work, no need to worry. and for as Our BCM recall, what that does is, it keeps you from screwing up the electrical units in the truck if you wire the trailer wrong. and it keeps it from starting a fire, its not really of 06 models but they bring them in to test them. thats why they use two more relays. Oh and I make and work on the TITANS. any questions you got I know. and no they don't have an OEM relay. its a new import truck with its own electrical parts.
