Yeah I towed that...

The Nissan Titan is a bad@$$ truck. Man I'm proud to be a Titan owner.
She towed 8K at 60 mph with a parachute behind her. 180 miles round trip.

Re: Yeah I towed that...

nice trail rig...you even towed that w/o the "big tow" pkg, do you have an aftermarket guage to keep an eye on tranny temps? if you were towing 5k lbs, i wouldnt even be asking but 8k is 60% more than that. nice job and once again, nice trail rig you got there, love those old "still in the crate" jeeps.

The towing is impressive. More importantly though, where can we get a full size picture of your avatar?

Re: Yeah I towed that...

that is a nice swamp rig. You have to be in Florida somewhere.

bigger pictiures of the air bags would be nice too.

Re: Yeah I towed that...

this thread is worthless without a bigger picture of those airbags!

i recently grossed 14.5K (truck, trailer & load) hauling a dump trailer full of busted up concrete with a non-bigtow. It handled it very well but i only had to haul it 5 miles on flat paved roads, no hills at all. Did 3 loads and didn't exceed 50mph. I would do it again, but i wouldn't haul that kind of weight much further than this distance.

Re: Yeah I towed that...

the tandem rears look heavier than whats in the jeep, my guess is its probably out of a military 6x6 truck or something like that..
