Re: Thoughts on hitch?

I just posted this in your other thread too. But I'm not a fan of the chain style WD hitches. The RV stores will hose you on this type of stuff. You can get the Equal-i-zer hitch from here for a good price. I think it's even free shipping?

Re: Thoughts on hitch?

What do you plan to tow? How long is it and how heavy is it?

Re: Thoughts on hitch?

I would get the Reese before getting the one you asked about. I would also reccomend the Equal-i-zer over any other WD hitch, including the Reese.

These units with chains really require a tool every single time, and the equalizer is so easy that more than half the time I don't need to use the tool at all.

Some of these are only WD hitches, meaning you also need to buy anti-sway separately. With the equalizer, you get both in one unit ... its low tech, but good low tech ... and easy to use.

I found a used equalizer hitch on craigslist -- best price in tow, and heck, its a hitch ... used is no issue at all.
