towed my boat 1200 miles
drove 12 hours straight 1st day at 70mph and remaining 4 hours next day between 65-75mph. was towing 4000lbs and had no problems...even got 13mpg but I put back on my oem rim/tires for the trip.
I was extremely happy with the performance. I played with the tow mode and drive/4th gear and noticed no difference in mpg even tho there was a 500 rpm difference a few times in the mtns going from 2000ft - 7000 ft my cruise control disengaged(it was set at 70mph) while locked in 4th tow mode on wonder if that was normal? |
