Anyone with Yakima Outdoorsman 300 Rack ???

Hello,

Has anyone installed this rack on their Titan?
If so, how do you like it?
Are they tall enough to provide some clearance over the cab for a canoe?
Do you have any pictures?

I added a canopy to my truck to haul the conoe. I tried talking the wife into kyaks. We will make the conoe work. I am planning on foam blocks for over the cab. Or see if they make a higher stand off.

I think the OEM rack is alot cleaner with the Utility track and alot more versitile. You dont like the OEM rack?

send a pic when you decide or if you get it..i'm in the same situation...have a Leer Canopy and 3 kayaks to load.....trying to decide the best way to go ..the factory sliding Titan racks are not suitable

I like the factory racks but I don't have the utilitrak system on my bed and apparently you cannot install it afterwards.

I am considering the Thule Xporter 422. If anyone has installed one of them, I would appreciate some pictures/feedback. I am not sure if the Thule will clear the cab high enough so the tip of the canoe doesn't hit it.

Any information from someone carrying canoes in something other than the factory rack/utilitrak would be appreciated?
