I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..

Okay, so I can't tow it. I am now a part owner the trailer below. While part ownership is dangerous, it's not in my name at all, so I'm safe. Not to mention, I trust the other guys with my life every couple of days, so no big deal.
Anyway, the dry weight of the trailer is okay...however the tongue weight is 1,340lbs. I have helper springs and we have a WDH, so yeah, I could potentially tow it completely empty, but I don't plan on it! Everybody I go 4wheelin with has a 3/4 ton, and I can always borrow my dads if I need to tow it. It'll fit 4 in the back (including my king quad 700), and has 4 queen size beds! We pick it up tomorrow, and it's maiden voyage is Thursday! Jayco Talon 32 foot toy hauler....

That would be alot of trailer for a 1/2 ton. Borrowing dad's truck sounds like a good idea.

32 feet is a good size trailer. And with toys on it? Yeah, that's big, and definitely needs to go behind the new TITAN HD. Looks good PT. Have fun!

I like the idea of using up someone else's truck to tow that monster. Save your Titan for yourself because you deserve it.

Re: I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..

Nice rig man! I defenitly wouldn't tow that with a 1/2 ton. I bet that sucka's gonna be a little heavy even for a 3/4 ton when your all loaded up. Enjoy, but be safe.

Re: I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..

Well, took it on the first trip this past week. Buddy towed it with a ford
f250 V10 (the older style ford), and other than poor mileage, towed like a dream!! the WD hitch and sway control makes all the difference in the world. Passing semi's is a PIA, but that's nothing new to me. I've decided that if I had to tow it, I could/would, but only if there was absolutely NO other option and it wasn't for an actual vaction (i.e. short trip). Did find out today that my tires are rated for a little over 400 lbs more load than my buddies E loads. Not that is a deciding factor, but it was interesting none the less!
