U-Haul Hitch question Class 3 vs Class 4

Hey everyone !

I've seen several threads concerning the difference between class 3 and class 4 receiver hitches for the Titan.
I own a little tow KC, SE,(1600 miles; 18.3 mpg) and yet want to be able to pull a tt up to 7400 lbs. (I haven't bought the tt yet, and am still looking-that's another thread)

Anyway, after I got the truck home, I called around and found that U-Haul had the best hitch for the buck - not that I'm cheap or anything....okay..I'm cheap. I stopped by the U-Haul store, and asked "specifically" for a class 4 hitch for the Titan. The sales guy stated, and I quote " the only difference between the class 3 and class 4 is the weight distribution parts." end quote.

I said "oooookaaay....Not that I don't believe you, but show me in writing."

He did. Right on the receive hitch is a tag that states -

Max gross weight - 6000 lbs Max tongue weight - 600 lbs
Max gross weight when used with Load Distribution Hitch - 10,000 lbs
Max tongue weight when used with LDH - 1000 lbs

So I walked out $141 dollars lighter, and one hitch under my right arm.
$48 worth of relays and a $14 dollar wire harness later, and I'm ready to mount the brake controller. On hindsight, I wish I had bought the hitch package from the dealer, since it was just a few bucks more.

I peeled off the U-Haul tag, and stapled it to my receipt....just in case.
What am I missing?

Thought it was worth sharing guys.....and gals...

Hope everyone has a great week !

That is a good price. I don't think you need the relays for an 06 though, just the wiring harness should work.
