The first pic is without airbags inflated, as I first purchased the 07 26ft. Fleetwood Gearbox. I towed it to Ocitillo Wells and it did well, but there was signifigant sag in the rear.
After the air bag install there was a worlds of difference, not to mention a relief in the sag in the rear, I have a 1200lb load distribution hitch, anti sway and prodigy break controller. i have seen in some posts many questions about airbags and althought I used my camera phone I think a picture is worth 1000 words. This pic is with the air bags at about 40 psi they go to 100. I got them from Mac's Springs in Higland Ca and installed them myself.
thanks, I think tongue weight is 10% of the total trailer which is 7800lbs dry. So 780lbs?
Did you actually weigh that or are you just guessing? With how far those wheels are set back on that trailer and the amount of sag with a 1200 pound
W/D hitch.. I have a WW FS2300 and it's closer to 1000 lbs on the Tounge.

Nice trailer by the way.
Thats what the dealer said? I never measeued I've only had it a week.
I am guessing your tongue weight is going to be somewhere between 850 to 950 lbs. loaded. My trailer is 680 loaded tongue weight and mine doesnt sag that much. I also had stuff in the bed so that weighed it down a little more.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but since we're on the subject....My truck sits level with my trailer. If I do the leveling kit, will it cause the truck to sag? If so, what would be a better option, the deavers or airbags from prg?
-thanks

I'm also in the near furture going to put in Deaver 10 pack springs and get rid of the 4 inch lift blocks in the back.

I agree, the dry weights on most travel trailers are with them stripped down. No propane, batteries, fluids, minimal options and so on. If your toyhauler is hauling toys and camping gear you are likely over the tongue limit and depending on what you haul along possibly even the tow rating limit.
When I saw airbags I assumed that they were air bladders that can be inflated and deflated (kinda like on my old El Camino) but then someone said helper springs (like I had on my Ranger) which is nothing more than another spring that you attach to your leaf springs. (JC Whitney ~ $100). So what is it?

How's the towing with the 35's. I am assuming you go through mountains to get there. My friend keeps telling me to get 35's when I get the leveling kit, but I am afraid I'll loose too much power. I have a 24' front bath toy box and it weighted in at 7200lbs and 900lbs tongue without toys and water. Your trailer could possibly weight more. You have a sweet trailer by the way.
