I have an '04 Titan with the Tow Package. Last week the Parking Lights on the horse trailer stopped working while the Parking Lights on the truck itself worked fine. The brake lights and turn signal lights worked fine on the trailer and truck too. Just the parking lights on the trailer stopped working.
I think that the trucks wire harness plug-in (by the hitch) seems to have a problem. There is no power going the the Parking Light wire on the plug itself (a red wire). All other wires get power: reverse lights, both turn signals, positive lead, etc. But the wire for the Parking Lights is dead.
Now, this summer, I hard-wired a Line of Fire light bar into the trucks towing wire harness. I don't think this caused any problems as all lights worked fine at the time of installation and have continued to work fine until last week.
Just to make sure, though, I removed the Line of Fire wire that attaches to the trucks Parking Light wire (that red wire). Even then the Parking Light wire was not getting power.
Any ideas on what is going on?? Again, all the lights on the truck work fine (including parking lights). Is there a separate fuse for the Parking Lights wire on the plug? I didn't see any damage to the wiring harness under the truck. I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Trailer Parking Lights not working...Any Ideas??
That wire going to the trailer tail lights has a fuse under the hood. Open the hood. Look for a black box about 6" x 6" just to the street side of the center of the engine. This box is not real easy to get to because it is up under the windshield but it opens straignt up so you can see without a mirror. Check all fuses. I can't remember which fuse, but I remember that it is in that fuse box. Good luck.

Romoz: Thank you very much! That solved the problem. Somehow a 10 amp fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse and everything works as it should. Thank you again!

Thanks for the info on this.
I just blew my fuse last night.
I thought it was the recall wiring that the dealer added, it has two 10AMp fuses.
Fortunately, I made it home today and found this site.
I replaced the underhood fuse and all is good.
