Any "Outback" owners?

Howdy Folks,

I've been dream-weaving about buying a TT and looked at the info available on the web for a lot of different makes and models. Recently my attention was caught by the Keystone Outback family of trailers and I was especially intrigued by the Kargoroo models which have some of the benefits of a Toyhauler without the tremendous gain in trailer weight. The other aspect of the Kargoroo I like was the fact that you gain another full size bed for additional sleeping capacity. I would appreciate hearing the good, bad and ugly from anybody who has or had one of these trailers.

Thanks
DT

Re: Any "Outback" owners?

I was looking at their 23RS, and got a chance to see it in person at a recent RV show. I liked everything EXCEPT the bathroom, it was kind of small...but that was me.

The best place on the net for RV info is:

http://www.rv.net/forum/

Lurk around, do some searches, and join up if you're going to be RV'ing because you'll have plenty of other questions about trailers and such, and these guys have the answers.

Re: Any "Outback" owners?

DT,

I don't have that model but we do have a outback 28rsds and the titan pulls it with power to spare. The only thing I'm not happy with is that the rear sags when I'm fully loaded, but I have about a thousand pounds of tonuge weight! As far as the outback we have had it for two year now and I'm happy with the quality of the camper overall. One other thing is, I don't know how big of a unit you are looking at but I did buy a hensely arrow hitch. ALOT of money but well worth it! If you have anymore questions fire away. Hey you might want to go to outbackers.com asome site!

Re: Any "Outback" owners?

Thanks for the responses Lou & Johnny. Johnny since you own an Outback and the bathrooms look like a cookie cutter set-up how do you feel about the size of the bathroom? I'm not planning on spending any significant amoutnof time in there but it's still a consideration.

Thanks again
DT

The bathroom is small but we don't use the shower. But we do use the tub as a clothes basket. The wife has never said anything about the size...... of the bathroom that is

Re: Any "Outback" owners?

Johnny another question on the Outback occurred to me. Is the jack-knife sleeper sofa in the OB long enough for an adult to sleep on comfortably?

Re: Any "Outback" owners?

An adult woman of 5'3" no problem. But outside of that no it is to small for an adult comfortably. Ask away I'll try to answer.
