The hitch, among other things, comes with the tow package.
How much weight are you wanting to tow? Keep in mind that without the factory tow package you can't simply bolt up a hitch and have the same max towing capacity as those with the tow package.

I p/u'd a Curt brand class III for $150. An outfit in Tempe had it for $98. but they wouldn't answer their phone.
QS(Quality S) are ugly, but they are...cost effective? I'm sure there are other brands. If you're hooking up lights and/or brakes, you'll need the relays that plug into the fusebox. |

I long for the good 'ol days when you would just bolt down a ball into the step bumper ..... trailer lights optional ..... trailer brakes unheard of.

my 07 KC xe came with "the big tow" but no hitch. salesman said go to u-haul. around $130 installed

Check out yournissanparts.com I bought my OEM hitch from them. Good price and fast service. It took about 20 minutes to install. Very easy just make sure you have a torque wrench.

Courtesy parts has a OEM for $211, only tow up to 5K though.

Do yourself a favor and get a factory one. By the time you mess around with aftermarket you'll have the same money into it. You need the hitch and 2 relays. The factory one comes with them. Mine was 198 with tax at my local dealer.

My 2007 SE has a button on the inside that says "Tow Mode", so does that mean I have the tow package? My truck did not come with a trailer hitch and only has the hole that you pop the little plastic cover out and place the ball in that hole. Did I get ripped off or what?
