Hitch Buddy (Tow Buddy)

Looking for anyone who owns the "Hitch Buddy" (Tow Buddy) or knows about them first hand. I'm looking for a viable way to tow a fifth-wheel trailer with a crew cab titan. Also want to know if you retain the fifth-wheel stability option with this set-up.

Thanks
DT

Re: Hitch Buddy (Tow Buddy)

With the pullrite super glide hitch you can tow a fifth wheel the conventional way in the bed.

I do not have any experience with the tow buddy, but I've heard its just as stable as a regular fifth wheel.

Re: Hitch Buddy (Tow Buddy)

Thanks Red. From some of the other threads I had gotten the impression that the even with the superglide the CC bed was just too short. The other big obstacle is the pin weight which the hitch buddy seemed to alleviate. I appreciate the input for sure.
