2 degree advance, effects on towing?
I've read thread after thread in the performance forum about the 2 degree timing advance adding performance. I would like the increased performance, but not if it will negatively effect the towing performance. I'm concerned that the advance could cause the truck to ping under heavy load (like dragging 9K up a mountain pass at 7,000 ft). Does anyone that tows frequently have the advance? If so, any thoughts?
