2007 XE Brake control wiring harness

I have read on other post about the electric brake prw-wiring not being installed but it was post for 04 models... does anyone know if this has been corrected in the 06-07 models. If not what would be my first step to install the harness.

If youhave the Tow Package, the harness will be in the glove box, or center console...If you don't, you can buy the harness adapter from Nissan, it plugs into the truck wireing harness just to the right of the steering colunm. behind that lower plastic dash panel. Your truck should already have the plug in the wire harness...

Re: 2007 XE Brake control wiring harness

I called the dealer and they said it wasn't pre-wired... what a bummer, but I thought I would take a look anyways. I put E brake down and looked underneath with a flashlight and BAM! It was right there. Seem light the nissan dealer doesnt know anything about the trucks they sell.

I am so surprised to hear that a Nissan Dealer does not know anything about the trucks they sell. The Dealers in AZ tell me that Nissan USA is slow to disseminate information. Thank God for Forums like this!

Re: 2007 XE Brake control wiring harness

Gotta love the prewired harness! On my Frontier I had to get power from the battery, wire it all back to the hitch, etc. On the Titan I plugged in the harness and attached 4 wires. Done! 10 minutes instead of a few hours. Oh yeah, and unlike the Frontier, the Titan can pull more than a shopping bag full of feathers.
