Problem with trailer lights

I have a little problem, when i purchased my titan it did not have a tow package. So I bought one off ebay, it came with the wire harness that plugs right in the socket under the bed.
The problem I am having is my parking lights on the trailer do not work when the trailer is plugged in. The brake lights and directionals work fine. I know its not a problem with the trailer because I tested it with another truck and they worked fine. Any suggestions?

Re: Problem with trailer lights

I have the exact opposite problem. I had the dealer install a tow pkg as part of my 4x4 deal. Only my running lights work and not the brakes or signals???? I知 taking it to the dealer on Friday to find out why. if i get any good info I値l pass it along.

I do believe though that there are supposed to be two relays in the rear when a tow is added. i have a feeling I知 missing one or both and you probably are also.

Later,
Sean

I think the relays go under the dash and under the hood. Been 8 months since i had my fatory hitch and wiring installed so i cant remember for sure.

If you have the BT Package or purchase the hitch from the dealer it should have came with the relays, if you got an aftermarket hitch than you need to buy the relay from the dealer.
