The boat doesn't weigh 3000# but, when I go crawfishing I can put 1000-1500# of crawfish in boat. I will ask when I go in for service, I have a couple of issues with truck only 29000 miles so it,s still under warranty.

ALL Titans have a Tow mode button (I THINK). That does not mean you have the Tow package though..You'll need to see if you have the HD battery, big tow mirrors, tranny temp gauge, and receiver hitch..none of which your truck has, so you don't have the big tow package! you can still tow like 7400 pounds I think
May sound unrelated but I think its relevant. My work truck is a chevy 1500 it does not have a tow package (can only tow 6400#'s) but it does have a Tow/Haul switch. I usually use it when I'm going through the mountains.

The dealer can remove the hitch, and maybe swap mirrors, but the trans guage will stay.
I'm pretty sure all the models(at least SE & LE) have the Tow Mode feature.
