Right now I have my truck lowered in the rear with the PRG rear lowering kit, which still allows full load and tow capacity, with some 22s, but right now the 22s just feel too small for the truck and I really want to do a 24, but am nervous because I am going to be towing a 3,600lbs boat up to my cabin and back a few times this summer. Can I do a 24 and still tow the boat without bending rims or something of that sort? Thanks in advance.
The tire I would run is problably the nitto 420s 315/35/24, which is pretty low pro I would think? and im very jealous, I wish my mom drove a navigator on 24s and pulled a boat around!
you're right, pull off those "wagon wheels" and get some real truck tires!

Yep, 24's are for show, 17's for tow and for go.
Just one opinion.

i tow about 2800 on my 24's... no worry what so ever. You will be fine but i would tell you to consider a larger side wall. also when i bought my wheels and tires i told them that i tow 5000lbs 3 times a week so instead of the nitto's i went with cooper... they have the over-load tire for towing. maybe this will help you? look at some 295-40's the load rating is by far better than stock tires... but the tire isnt going to be the biggest problem... explore and research on what wheel your going to be purchasing.... for different wheels have defferent load ratings... hopefully this helped

I dont think there i a stright foward answer to that
It s gonna depend on the wheels and tires your putting on your truck
I have american racing 22" wheels and falcon tires and the load ratings are equal and better
Just check the wheel and tire ratings
A different problem might be overall diameter of the wheel and tire combination and by going larger diameter you decrease your final drive ratio and that will lessen what you can pull to a small degree
hope this helps
