Anybody got ideas about where to hide the compresor for a set of Firestone air bags?

I don't know how big it is, but consider where the bed tool box is, in the left rear quarter panel. There are some brackets under there, you may be able to fab a shelf for it to fit on and be protected well.

I haven't gotten it yet, just ordered. I don't know how clean & dry it has to stay or exactly how big it is.

Re: Hide Air Bag Compressor

I mounted mine under the rear seat behind my sub box. Then I was able to use the amp power to connect the compressor and stay within the distance to a power source as firestone rcomends. I looked at using the back bed box but it wouldn't work. Plus mounting it this way I only needed one hole in the firewall instead of a bunch or a much larger one.http://www.titantalk.com/forums/362280-post78.html. Here is a link to my compressor and controller.

Re: Hide Air Bag Compressor

That looked real good!

Somewhere else I read of somebody putting it inside the AEM Airbox. I'm puting my tire compressor in there I think. I'm going to disassemle it, take the guts out of the plastic housing. Sold as a Truck Tire compressor for 50 bucks at auto parts store.
