Re: Roadmaster Active Suspension = AWESOME!

I had the dealer tighten it all the way down when it was in for the rear end failure and it did raise the rear about an inch. It improved the cornering even more but I didn't get much a chance to test that as it was pouring that day and I have been in mexico since. I will be home sunday and plan on taking her for a run on monday. If you only have it at a dime for the spring I would say you have it under tightened, I have mine all the way maxed out now and ride quality is still great.

Re: Roadmaster Active Suspension = AWESOME!

Ok another update, Took out the Toy Hauler this weekend which should be about 8000-8500 lbs and it handled like a dream. When connected to the trailer the rear did dip some but even with the lowering kit on it wasn't that low and worked great. Sway was evident as it was storming, or I should say it was trying to sway but the RAS seemed to instantly negate it. You would feel the rear end start to sway and then just stop. I am absolutely impressed with this system and recommend it to anyone!

Big thumbs up for the RAS!

Re: Roadmaster Active Suspension = AWESOME!

I was looking into getting either sway bars or the RAS. Does anyone know if these can be used together or if it must be one or the other? Also does anyone know if installing this myself will affect the warranty?

Re: Roadmaster Active Suspension = AWESOME!

The RAS acts as a rear sway bar so that makes a rear sway kind of redundant and it does a good job as a rear sway bar. I am still going to pick up a better front sway bar as well.

Shouldn't be any problem with that, it is pretty easy, just read through it a couple times and make sure you understand it so you don't waste time doing things redundantly. I would say it really takes about an hour to hour and a half doing it yourself with a lift or good set of jack stands and jacks.

Any pics of this set up or a link to some pics please? Would it work with the PRG leveling kit and rear blocks? TY

I have the Top Guns leveling kit and with the RAS set up properly the truck has a nice stance.
