Anyone have these air bags, Greg recommended the AirLift for me and he gave me the part number but I will have to order it from another retailer. The Firestone Air Bags are available locally and I was wondering if anyone who might have these are having problems. Greg's advice seems best to me.

I had the RideRite air bags installed a couple of years ago, and they're probably the best money that I've spent on the truck. They work - period. If you get the ones without the onboard compressor, have them run the valve stem through your license plate attachment hole, for easy access........
When you're not loading down the truck, run the bags with about 5-10 psi in them, and they won't affect your ride quality.

I have the firestone, and love them. I have the onboard compressor also. I have had them on for over 2 years with no trouble, I don't find the ride has changed as long as I keep them at or below 10 psi. I also think they are more durable than the other bags available.
Got em and love them also,I went without the onboard compressor.I bought a 12V portable compressor I keep in my bed storage area. When needed I pull it out and plug it into the power outlet in the bed.
I went against the mounting instructions and put a "T" connector between the two lines so I wouldn't have to worry about balancing the two bags independently.I ran the air hoses throught the frame rails for a really clean look and installed the valve stem on the bracket that holds the 7 pin connector on my tow hitch.
When making my decision,I compared the Ride Rite's to the Airlift's side by side, the Ride Rites seemed much more heavy duty.Note also if your truck is lifted you can purchase "cans" which are round steel spacers to mount under the bags that correspond with the height of your lift blocks on the leaf springs

I have the air lifts and love them.. I run individual lines to the bags and have the charge valves are in the side storage box. The compressor would be nice, but like Mike I just have a small 12 volt compressor to air up as needed.

My first post here, just have a quick question. I have been looking at either air bags or the Roadmaster Active Suspension system. Need opinions on which to go with. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I too have the ride rites and am very pleased. I also have the on board compressor which I got at the suspensionconnection.com. The airbags were about 260 and the the compressor was on sale for about 180 and this was about 2 or 3 years ago. A friend of mine helped install and we did it in abou 3 1/2 hours. Either way you'll be happy.

Has anyone found that the compressor your buying (with the full kit) is capable of airing up tires or filling an on board air tank? I plan to run OBA on my Titan but would like 1 compressor to handle all air tasks.
Thanks everybody for the responses, I decided and went ahead and purchased the Firestone Ride Rite part number 2355. Suspensionconnections web site had them listed for $275. They cost me $319 and I bought the kit here to support our local business. I pick them up tomorrow morning.
