Anyone using a tekonsha Voyager controller?

Anyone have any comments on the Tekonsha Voyager? I know the majority of the people here use the Prodigy but I don't tow very often, and was hoping to save the $$ if the Voyager works good as well. Thanks!!

Re: Anyone using a tekonsha Voyager controller?

Yes I have the Tekonsha controller. It's what the RV dealer installed when I bought my TT. My TT weighs around 7000lbs loaded, and the Tekonsha works just fine. It's just a little sensitive trying to get it set up, but once it's set it works fine.

Thanks for the Info! Were they able to mount it without drilling any holes through the plastic?

I have that controller as well, works fine, I did not have to drill through the plastic.

Re: Anyone using a tekonsha Voyager controller?

I use a Tekonsha Voyager. Have a trailer that is around 5500# with 4 wheel brakes, works great.

Thumbs up Re: Anyone using a tekonsha Voyager controller?

I have the same controller, I had it own my GMC, now on my Titan. A little hard to set, but after it's set, it works great.
