Charging Wire on Big Tow Package
Does anyone know: What size charging wire (and ground) runs to the 7 pin plug on the big tow package? Where and how does the wire connect to the alternater? What is the amp capacity (output) of the alternater?

I have an ammeter in my travel trailer and the wire is small enough on the truck that I can only get about 10 amps out of it. I would not expect much more than 10 amps.

10 amps sounds about right, it's not a big wire and you're running it a long way from the alt...
