towmode/hitch question.

I have a 04 titan se cc, when I bought it I also bought a 29ft starwood traveltrailer. I had the towmode button inside like the other ppl but didnt have a hitch, when I bought the camper the hitch was included in the price so I went get a drawtite put on so ill be able to tow it. Does that mean I have the towpackage now being I got the drawtite put on? im not the brightest at these type of things so I was j/w?

tow package = tow mirrors, tranny temp gauge, lower gear ratio, and a hitch.

aka, no you dont have the tow package, therefore your towing limit will be less than that of a titan with the tow package.

I have a 07 XE CC and it has the TOW MODE button on the lower dash....doe that mean I have the tow package....I dont have a hitch or tow mirrors....just wondering

Nope, every titan out there has a tow mode button, but not all of them have the lower final gear ratio, trans temp guage, hitch, and towing mirrors. Only the Big Tows have all the goodies.

It just keeps the tranny in a lower gear a little longer to get the rpms up a little more before it shifts.
