Nissan towing, but not with a Titan

Hey my friends just bought a pop-up camper and plan to tow it with their Nissan Murano. I know that this vehicle has some strange 'no shift points' transmission and was was wondering if you guys could offer some advice?

The pop-up camper is approx 2k lbs tow weight.

They should be alright then. I was more thinking along the standard advice of "don't tow in OD" but I'm not sure that applies with their transmission.
