Worst mileage on my Titan is as good as the best I ever got out of a Chevy 2500 CC with 454 and 3.73 gears.
And the Titan can do even better if you are nice to it.
Bye Bye Chevy 2500!
Don't even miss it.

You know you had a great night last night when you make it home the next day missing at least 1/2 of your clothes.
I'm going to start up a soup kitchen. That way I can be first in line.
I pulled a 6x12 uhaul trailer loaded with furniture and other household goods (about 1500-2k lbs) from New Orleans, LA to South Dakota, and my titan got the same mileage as it did when I made the trip without the trailer. Now when I put it in tow mode, then I seen a decrease in mpg, but other then that I have nothing but good things to say about the titan's towing ability.
It's a pretty powerful truck, don't expect great gas mileage out of it.

I am disappointed in this thread. IMO original poster voiced his opinion about MPG got attacked. I know everyone here loves their Titans but why to hostility towards him? Is there history I am unaware of?

We get sick and tired of people buying a big truck with a lot of HP and torque and then wonder why they get bad gas mileage...Especially bad when he starts comparing the chebby to the titan...This is a titan site and he came looking for a good ole b!tchslap and got it......
I averaged 22 mpg hwy driving 75mph. My uncle has an Z71 crew cab and still gets over 20 Hwy.
Someone isn't calculating right. I know 6 guys with chevys and they all get 17-18 on the freeway and 11 towing.

+1. I'm still a newb to my truck and this site. However, if he wants to vent alittle about HIS truck, let him. What does it hurt? I still love my truck (even though the gas mileage sucks ) and you all still love your trucks.

Perhaps he means his Chevys got over 20 Mechanics Per Garage. Driving them on the freeway resulted in more mechanical problems, thus more repairs and more mechanics needed to get the work done before the truck rusted and fell apart.
I find it interesting that at least 80% (if not more) of the vehicles I see broken down on the side of the road are GM products.

It was mentioned once but bears repeating..... the DIC readouts, especially on Chevy's, are notoriously off. Sorry OP, something with your numbers stinks. Your speedo is either off and/or you're not calculating you mpg's right. There's no way to get that kind of mileage going over 70....
I probably wouldn't believe it even if you said you were going 55..... but at 70-75? Get real.... You're either lying through your teeth to all of us or there is something wrong with your calculating.
If you actually got that kind of mpg's out of a full-size truck towing a load Al Gore would kidnap you and make you show him how.
