Towed a 37' TT with my Titan

The Titan did great!!! The TT had a slide. The Titan was sitting low in back because we didn't have any W/D bars.....

...I forgot to mention it was for only a quarter mile and four turns. The TT was in a neighborhood that my buddy could not get his flat bed with the trailer hooked up out of. The flat bed was a Nissan UD rated at 26,000 lbs and about 30ft long. The TT was 41ft hitch to bumper. The titan had the power but the suspension could not handle it.

Re: Towed a 37' TT with my Titan

It's no joke the titan can tow it......Not on the freeway though....To much wind/turbulance....I towed this one about 25 miles on some backroads...Got up to 50-55 a couple of times and it felt OK....
This one is a 36 footer and weighs 8800 lbs. dry......There was all kinda schit in it when i towed it to the campground.......
These trucks are tough !!!!!!!!
Wouldn't advise it if you haven't towed very much.....
Good luck and be safe...

Re: Towed a 37' TT with my Titan

Redneck's pics are very close to the same setup I towed. My Titan looked the same. If I had W/D bars I would have tried it. We had to move it about 40miles but it was on the interstate and through 3 small cities. We went to pick it the trailer up on Saturday with just my Titan because the guy said it was only 30ft. When we got there it was 37ft with a slide. We hooked the TT up to my Titan and it looked like it was doing a wheelie so we went back on Sunday with my buddy's car carrier.

The funny thing is I had an F250 gas, 2 F350 diesels and a E350 before the Titan was bought in July and never had to move anything as big as this TT.

I was just going to post the just top half of my post and let the weight police get crazy but I wanted to keep it civil.

Re: Towed a 37' TT with my Titan

Yeah - you need an extra spring leaf or two in the back for serious towing of that baby! Btw what's up with that gas station?!
