my toy hauler set up

this is my 18' work and play not sure on weight. about 5000 wet about 6000 loaded for the dunes 2 quads gene fuel supplies. the hitch that came with it is about 1 inch to low but i plan on putting different springs on so im waiting to see if this hitch works then. tows great w/wd hitchbut but i dont think i would want any heavier.

the toy hauler new runs about $18-20,000 i stole this one from a guy that had it for sale for about 8 months perfect condition.

being only 18' i needed the storage space for tools, dump hose, jack pads..........
working on building a box to stack 2 batteries where the one is now between tanks and tool box. getting full up there wish i had other options then to add wieght to the hitch.

some people add a hitch receiver to the trailer, and then put a hitch carrier.
Like this one. I'm thinking of doing the same to my trailer.

that wouldnt work for me i use weight distribution hitch and i know the tongue weight is more #500.

I have one of these on the back of my camper. I had to order a hitch tigherner because it would sometimes wobble and start the trailer to sway a bit - even with my sway control.

I also use a folding receiver because nice to get the thing out of the way while camping without having to take it off.
