Re: Think i can do this?

nissans site says payload is 2k but i think youll be fine as long as the pallet is centered over the axle and is well supported by the bed frame

Man 20 miles is a way to go.
I picked up 3K lbs of rocks once, only had about 5 miles to go but it was a tough 5 miles, my tires look and feel like it was about to pop.

Shouldn't be a problem. The biggest thing you should worry about is the pallet sliding forward if you have to slam on the brakes.

Re: Think i can do this?

If it is a standard pallet, it probably won't fit in the bed because of the wheel wells, I maybe wrong, it will be off by 1-2 inches.

Re: Think i can do this?

I brought a pallet of sod home 2 summers ago, drove about 15 miles. Little light in the front but handled it ok.

Standard pallets fit between the wheel wells.

What's more likely to happen is it will slide forward & dent the front of your bed out into the cab. That happened to a co-workers truck hauling a pallet of tile.
