Running an Accessory while Towing

Trying to get the 12 volts to work for a 2005 Nissan Titan from the 7 pin connector that the trailer plugs into. From what I can tell, my truck has both Tow 1 and Tow 2 relays. Still cant get the 12 volt pin to light when I test it with a light. All other light functions work.. Brakes, Turns Signals etc.

Re: Running an Accessory while Towing

Did you test with the key in the ignition and turn to on? There is not power to the plug unless it is turned on by the key; safety feature so if the trailer is hooked up for an extended period of time is doesn't drain the battery

Have you ever gotten the TSB done? if so they added a fuse by the BCM (under the steering wheel area. There's a fuse there too.

The truck was running when I tested with the light. Still no power. Not sure if I know what the TSB is.

Thanks, took it to the dealer. Took them four hours to figure out it was indeed the fuse under the dash that was blown.
