Big tow or not??

What is the difference between the Big Tow package and regular? I bought my 2006 Titan a few weeks ago, and it has everything but the tow mirrors. It has the Nissan 10,000lb Class IV hitch, tow/haul mode. But from what the manual says, there is almost a 2000lb trailer towing capacity difference.

A search would help you wonders on this, lots of folks have asked about this, I for one have an 06 Crew Cab, the key for this year and a few others is on the dash, you must have a transmission temp guage to have the Big Tow on an 06. The other items with Big Tow is 3:36 gears, the Big Tow mirrors, but someone could have changed those out. The hitch would be a factory Nissan with the 7 pole plug and the relays for the harness on that wiring. You also get the heavy duty battery, Trailer brake prewiring. Now it does matter if you have a 4x4, then some of this stuff comes with Off-road as well. The trans temp guage in the factory cluster on the dash would be the dead giveaway to the Big Tow, that is the hardest to install if it didn't come with the Big Tow.

Re: Big tow or not??

Class IV receiver hitch
Additional 7-pin wiring harness plug
Trailer brake controller pre-wiring under instrument panel
Heavy-duty battery (710 CCA)
Lower final gear ratio (3.36:1)
Extendable tow mirrors (N/A on XE)
Increased tow capacity
Front tow hooks

I have the 7-pole harness, The pre-wiring for the controller (had to buy the other connector from Nissan to plug in), 710CCA battery, Tow hooks.
I don't have the big mirrors or the tranny temp gauge. And I am unsure, but I think I have the 2.93 gears.
Truck is an '06 CC LE 2wd.

Don't let it getcha down though. I had an XE w/o the BT package.
The 5.6 can pull it's own. (No pun intended)
