7 round to 4 flat

Do u need to buy the adapter from a 7 round to a 4 flat from nissan, cuz the one i bought, the running light lead is in the wrond spot, its an easy fix, but was just wondering if anyone else has delt with this before?

I bought mine at Walmart. Worked fine, don't know what your talking about with running light lead.

Anything you buy for an adapter is going to be wired correctly. Maybe your trailer wiring is wrong??? You should not have to change anything on the truck.

ditto, I have an adapter from walmart that works fine. Nissan's have the same setup out the plugs as other vehicles.

mines from wall world as well, infact its about 10 years old. I had it on my old ford and then passed it onto the titan.

hmm then maybe my titans wiring is wrong, cuz when i hook the same trailer to my f-350 it all works, time to bust out the old testing light

could be your adapter is hosed, buy a new one.
