First, sweet avatar.

Second, I think you will be inline for new springs from PRG and/or airbags to help with the weight.

Re: Lifted titan tow???

she can do it, just keep her in 4th gear. I would also recommend air bags.

Nice 2.5 tons! I'm not sure the Titan will like pulling that tall *** truck too much if you have to travel long distances, I'm sure it would do ok towing at low speeds if you're not going far.

Re: Lifted titan tow???

Looks like he has a non big tow Titan. Wouldn't that hurt his tow capabilities?

Re: Lifted titan tow???

Big tow or not, I still don't think it's going to pull it very well. I think it would be ok around town going to local places, but as far as towing on the highway I very seriously doubt the Titan will even be able to get up to any decent speed with that tall of a truck behind it. I know my dad's 06 Superduty Diesel will pull his 40" Gooseneck with two trucks that have 6" lifts 95mph no prob and that wasn't even flooring it, but when I put my black Ford and 2 fourwheelers on there it got 8mpg and would only pull it just under 80mph and that was to the floor no wind on straight ground. The wind resistance is going to kill him, maybe try getting some roll arounds to put on there when you tow it, then switch em out once you get where you're going.

Re: Lifted titan tow???

You'll hate it pulling that trailer....son has a Didge hemi.

Put 33's on it...6.5 mpg...always shifting gears...4000lb race kart hauler

These trucks are bad....but not THAT bad!

(Bad as in good)

Re: Lifted titan tow???

im not looking to set any land speed records or anything, but is 4th gear at 55mph out of the question? Long distance, nah at most 3 hours away. I'm in central fla. and i would be going all flat land. I dont want to get ride of my truck for a super-duty. I love this thing. Everybody and there mother has a S-D lifted.

I wasn't suggesting that you get a superduty, merely giving an example of how the height of the truck is going to effect how the Titan pulls the trailer more than the weight. To me, 3 hrs is kind of a long distance trip and I don't think it's going to do very well at all, but that's just my opinion.

the truck weighs 6200lbs. so ifigured with a trailer somewhere in the area of 7600lbs. it is an off road.
