What is the ACC Brake relay?

I opened the fuse box behind the battery and noticed the diagram that showed a spot for a relay ACC Brake. What is this and do I need it?

Note: I am going to be starting to tow a 28 ft travel trailer approx. 7500lbs tomorrow. I already hooked up the electric brake control and as far as I know it works...but never been tested in tow. Also I have a 2005 Titan XE King Cab...Without a tow package from the dealer. I am going to be installing a Heavy duty Trans cooler on Monday. Will my truck be able to pull this? Thanks

Welcome to Titantalk, this site has a vast amount of information to fill a family size library. With that being said, do a search for the info you need on here, then check your owners manual and make sure that XE KC will tow 7500lbs. in its original state. From the little experience I have, what you have should work with added trans cooler and you may need a weight distrobution.

I believe that's for the trailer brakes you'll need. There are two of these relays needed. I think it's for ACCESSORY BRAKES. You're only capable of up to 7400 LBS w/o the tow package. You're missing the lower rear end gearing..which is probably the most important to towing capacity in this case.
