Re: WOW What a truck!

Another satisfied Titan owner! I love it. Congrats and enjoy. The only "break in" period for towing per Nissan is do not exeed I believe 50 mph for the first 500 miles of towing for waranty purposes. I did mostly 55 during my break in and have had no problems.

Good to know...

I ran 50-55 mph most of the way just about 10 miles each way at 60 mph on one strech of highway.

Re: WOW What a truck!

Lets clarify that statement:

BREAK-IN AND MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Nissan recommends that you allow a sufficient “break-in” (500 miles) of both the engine and drivetrain before towing with your new Nissan vehicle. In addition, for the first 500 miles that you tow a trailer, do not drive over 50 mph and do not make starts at full throttle.

So no trailer for the first 500 then for the first 500 you DO tow, nothing over 50 MPH.

Yeah I have been towing my 18 foot boat, and constantly have to look back and make sure it is still there, because it does not even feel like i'm towing anything

Re: WOW What a truck!

Can't agree more about what a great tow vehicle. I haven't towed anything bigger than a utility trailer until two weeks ago when I towed a 93 Sea Ray 240BR from Lake of the Ozarks in MO to upstate NY. Total trailer weight was probably about 6500. Hardly new it was back there.
