Need Help

Did the type of hitch needed change from 2008 to 2008.5?

I bought a Curt MFG hitch and I can't get it to bolt up. It is hitting on the piece shown in the picture below on both sides on top of the round tubing. Any Help would be great. Thanks

The round metal piece of the frame in the picture hits on top of the round tubing of the hitch not allowing it to come up high enough to bolt it on. It hits on both sides. At first I thought they sent the wrong hitch but it is labeled on the hitch for a Titan and all the paperwork that came with it is for a Titan. Says for 2004-2008

Unhook your battery or take it to the dealer(warranty).

Re: Need Help

It's all good now. The fellows at Club Titan helped me out. The dealer never removed the transport brackets. The hitch was hitting on the brackets.

Re: Need Help

I was gonna say..that bracket comes off and the hitch bolts up using those holes.
