miles round trip with my new 07 SE 4x4 pulling a 23 ft travel trailer @ 4150lbs dry and only loaded with goodies to eat and clothers to wear, from SE Okla to central Texas so it was downhill going and uphill back, no real proformance mod's yet. but did put dual in and out Magaflow. got 11.6 going and 11.2 back don't know if that is good or bad but the F--D I had got 10 on the same trip, let me know if this is common or do I need to do something..Thanks

you should see some improvement after its broken in, i wasn't towing anything but i was averaging about 11-12 mpg, after about 5,000- i picked up a bit to about 16-17mpg. this is city and some highway miles. heck i don't even know what i am getting now. I really don't want to know either.

I towed a trailer after 500 miles were on the titan. At ~1,000 miles I changed the fluid on both the front and rear differentials to the AMSoil synthetic. There was plenty of crud on the magnetic drain plug so I felt pretty good about doing that.

11mpg and change is pretty good. Remember you were pulling a barn sideways, and in some winds I am sure up there in the flat lands. Nothing to slow them down but the traffic. LOL...... You might see some improvement with a CAI and the 2degree bump. It is not likely to get too much better though. Glad you had a good time, and unlike the turd you had before I am sure you noticed no lacking in the power department.

It depends on weight and height of the TT. The taller they are, the more resistance thus more fuel used. Geography also makes a difference. More hills/turns, more fuel. I've gotten as good as 11 MPG and as bad as 6...but I think the 11 may have been with our smaller TT...I con't remember. In any even, yeah, 11 is about right, and that will vary from trip to trip.

I towed a uhaul from fort irwin california to fairbanks alaska, about 2,300 some miles. It was 6x12 trailer and loaded also with the back of my bed loaded down too. I know it's nothing compared to a TT but I was getting around 13 mpg on average.
