repo man

hey guys i have a quick question i hope someone can answer. i have a 2005 5.6 se nissan titan and was wandering if i could use it to repo cars and trucks using a wheel lift. i know it has the power but is it steardy enough

My gut instinct is no, it shouldn't be done. The payload is around 1,700 lbs, then the weight of the lift gets subtracted from 1,700 lbs. You could do light vehicles, but if you going after trucks, SUV's, and full size cars, I don't think it's going to be safe. Half of a 5k lb car is 2,500 lbs......there's a reason many light duty tow vehicles are F-350 based trucks. They have payloads of up to ~4k lbs I believe.

Could it be done?....... probably.

nope no way. i used to work at a towing company here in vegas and i gaurantee your titan couldnt handle it.
