trailer lights

I got an 08 xe and I hooked up my 6x12 trailer a few days a go and did a light check and found out that my turning light work and that the lights work when I push on the brakes, BUT when I turn on the light for night time the lights on the trailer are not on. and the relays are new with in a few months. is there something I can do to see if it is the 6 pin relay or a fuse somewhere . If this post been done before I did not see it or I'm just beeing lazy.
thank David

Re: trailer lights

Get a test light.
Poke the pins on the truck plug to see which pin has power when the headlights are switched on/off.

Re: trailer lights

I tested it with my test meter and no power out of the brake light port on the 4 way. I'm almost thinking it the relay how can I tell. is there a way to test the relay with my meter to make sure.

Re: trailer lights

The Trailer running lights relay is powered by fuse #32...I don't know what color it is...Check the fuse...a 10 amp

I think you should have 1 brown relay and 2 blue ones...
