Slip Light. How to disable?

So today I was at my local fair and they had a truck pull. Well they had a stock truck class so I figured I'd see what the old titan could do. Well I put it in 4 Low and hit the gas, my Slip light came on and never shut off not alowing my tires to spin. Is there a way to disable this? I can not find a button anywhere for this. Is this just traction control ?

Thanks!

Re: Slip Light. How to disable?

If you have the e-locker (sounds like you don't) then when you engage that then the VDC or ABLS systems are disabled.

So how did you do in the truck pull?

If I do the burn out mod, does it only work with the break on? will I be able to burn out with out the break pedal on?

Re: Slip Light. How to disable?

My understanding is that the burnout mod is for when you want to hold the brake and accelerator on without the ECU knowing that both of them are on. So I'm not sure how the burnout mod is going to help you out with your truck pull.

Re: Slip Light. How to disable?

Yeah i dont have a VDC switch on my 06 LE. Is there any way to find the wires and wire in a switch like you do with the burnout mod? It is very aggravating when you kick the *** end out and your rpm's get sucked down and the tires stop spinning...

What you are describing is not the ABLS. When my slip light is flashing I can bury the tach. What you are describing is VDC. All the ABLS does is apply the break to which ever tire is spinning fastest. If both are spinning at the same speed ABLS does nothing, it will also not put the brake on the tire that is spinning slower.
