Mine was taped under the dash by the emergency brake. You have to remove one cover and it was up in there a bit. If this does not work post a new thread I'm sure someone will chime in!

I recently purchased a Prodigy controller for my 2006 Titan, I came with a pigtail that connects the controller to the brake wiring harnes, installation and connection were a breeze!!

I just bought the Tekonsha P3 and was wondering if you guy's have sugestions on where to mount this controller.

I mounted my prodigy just to the left of the hood release, and it attached to the metal frame under the dash, it in reach just in case I need to my brakes while pulling my trailer. I think most people have mounted theirs by there right knee (above the input for the ECM) just make sure you stay within the angles that is allowed by the controller.

Seems the Prodigy was the best controller and recommended by my RV dealer when I bought my new travel trailer this month. I guess I could have installed it myself but had them do it. They installed mine to the right side of my dash board just below the steering wheel. Its easy for me to adjust and mine is set for 5.8 right now but I probably will lower the level. Going just below 25mph after adjust the manual control when first testing it, my trailer still will almost stop my truck. I've only travelled 30 miles since buying my trailer and planning on a lot more travel pretty soon. I am impressed with the Prodigy and will have to do some more exploring with the system, my new EazLift Weigh Distribution Hitch with a Robins Sway bar and of course my new Keystone Hornet Hideout 27B.

Hey guys I've tried searching past posts on this topic, I have an 04 XE with off road package, and am trying to wire my electronic brake controller that I hooked to the connector that I bought from my dealer. The problem is finding the piggytail located under the dash by the e-brake. Pretty sure I don't have one, looked under my brothers LE and found it right away. Anyhow I saw a post a while back stating that the 04 XE didn't have the prewired plug? Does anyone know this for sure and if this is the case how would one go about wiring it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It's easy... First check to see if you at least have the 4 wires at the rear for tail/turn/brake lights, you should. Then get a couple of circuit breakers (20-30 amp auto reset) and lots of 12 Gauge wire. Run one power wire to the rear of the truck (You can also run it through a relay so it only gets power when the key is on, but get the juice straight from the battery) The other power goes into the cab of the truck for the brake controller. Run a wire out of the cab to the back of the truck for the brake signal wire. and if you want a reverse light tap into the back up light circuit..

E-trailer I think has everything you need in a kit.

I just purchased a 2005 Titan & really like it... but it doesn't have the harness that comes when new. I've check with NAPA locally. They offer
"Brakeforce" brake controller but don't have a harness in stock. Any experience with Brakeforce? Comments? Also, when I had my new Ford (04) I had no problem installing trailer brake controller. Any problems with the Titan? Thanks,

The Nissan dealer has the brake controller harness...Makes like Prodigy also have direct plug n play harness's, but not sure if they have one for the Titan yet...

Yes, they have a plug and play for Titan and the Prodigy..
