Trailer brake controller hookup question.
I have a 2009 XE Crew Cab 4X4 with the trailer towing package. I have the controller plugin under the dash. My question is does the truck harness plug directly into the controller or is there other wiring needed? I am planing on getting a camper next spring and want to get set up before then. Thanks in advance.

There should be another plug in the glovebox to wire onto your controller...

You can buy a pigtail from Nissan like this one: Nissan Wiring Harness - Vehicle Brakes to Trailer Brakes :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com or see if your trailer brake controller manufacturer offers a pre-wired one. I bought a cable that went right from the Nissan connector under the dash to the brake controller connector. Absolutely no wiring required.
