I feel ya about the tint customers. I do alot of work for honda, hyundai, and mazda. They want them perfect.
I kinda moved away from the stereo stuff unless its custom. All the new stuff in new cars is a pain now days.....

Hey, just an idea from reading Tech's reply.... IF it's a CrewCab, what about pulling out the rear Bench and replacing it with Armada Bucket Seats to build the console in between??? The frames on the Armada Buckets should also be easy enough to modify for fitting a couple more subs underneath them. Just a thought that'd keep it clean, comfortable, and jammin'.

I seem to like the soft touch, dull with no shine interior of our trucks. Maybe Id do some tweed inserts on the doors and incorporate the same tweed into the box so it runs well. Tweed, ya I'm old school too. I think I'll be doing a center console as well but Im going to do a single 12. Only because I have kids and want to incorporate a insulated and drain-able fridge into it.
I definitely love the roll down window in the back! There is a junk Titan in my area that has a good interior, so I may go buy the small rear seat out of it (so I have 2) and go ahead with the console. Im with you for sure on the no bling on the inside.....heck I'm considering painting the truck flat(satin) black and "murdering it out". Ill come up with something soon enough and Ill be sure to post up the pics.
Oh, and as a side note, I just installed a new Kenwood X996 head unit and absolutely love the controls and configuration options it has available....plus bluetooth is nice!

It will def be the loudest way to go BUT......
Dont try to sell that thing, you can weld the piece back in BUT......
Just a heads up, I did it to a 95 nissan single cab. It was loud as hell with 16 12's in the back. When I sold it....oooops wish I wouldnt have done that.
To each his own, SOOOOO chop that puppy.....haha good luck man. hope you figure it out. If you do cut it, leave the beg a little higher than the cab and then you can fold over the bottom and put rivets in it. Thats how I did a couple of them. I havent done one in a few years though.

Its all very well done just a little too much . And I get the point of it so please noone try to explain its the wow factor. PIMP MY RIDE and Unique Audio tv shows are to thank for most of this. I can remember taking a KEnwood mask unit and having a Ford factory radio faceplate airbrushed on the side that flips over when the car is off.
Or maybe i am just getting OLD and it showing. I do turn 37 this week. LOL
Ok I am off my soapbox now. I will take my geritol and go to bed. DAMN TEENAGERS!!! Always thought i would never say that.
Hell tech im only 21, and i dont like it. When you have all of that stuff in your car people expect a lot from it. I much rather get the look for when it looks stock and blows the away. thats the look everyone should get...

He ended up not liking it and took the subs out to do a blowthrough so he could put the backseats back in. Only bad part was that it cost him another $1000, he lost half his bed, and had to get a truck bed cover.

I would check around local salvage yards and also check with Scott@Fontana Nissan. JerseyParts (Brian), Bodean, or NascarJody might also be able to help you out.
Re: Anybody out there a little more extreme with the sub install?
Good choice on going with the buckets. If you are gonna go through the trouble of getting bucket seats from a salvage yard then maybe try to find an infinity QX56 with a complete interior. Lots of those had rear bucket seats and shouldnt be too much mod if any to put them in.
