Kingcab under rear seat sub box... front facing vs down fire 10" kicker cvt's

I recently put a Front facing subwoofer box for a couple of kicker cvt 10" subs. But I dont think they sound very good. The bass sounds like it could be better. Im thinking of getting a down fire box, but I dont have any experiance with truck sound systems. I have a Rockford fosgate punch 1800 2 channel amp. Does anyone know if I would get more bass in the cab if I switched boxes. I have a 2005 titan kingcab. Thank you

Switch subs.... those cvt's are horrible subs

Or try porting the box as well, how deep is your forward facing box???

Yeah, check out the subs watts and more importantly how much RMS the subs are putting out each. theres a few kickers that put out like 150 a pop. not alot of bas at all, also depending on your amp.

I just got 2 kicker CVR10s that push 450RMS each. My alpine mono 500W rms amp is being delivered soon, then box, and ill be set. Ill let ya know when i get it installed. Im looking to get a facedown sub box tho.

I doubt this will work... Each sub needs 1.25 minimum to go ported. Thats 2.5 cubes before port/sub/bracing displacement. In a King Cab underseat without a major seat lift it aint going to happen

I'm running 2 Memphis MClass 10s ported in my KC. Sounds awesome.

Yea I'd say ditch the subs too. Those subs aren't very good. I don't think it's the box
