Best Sub(s) for my $$

I have a 460w Dual 2/1 Channel amp that I am putting in my XE. I was wanting to know from some people what the best sub(s) for my money would be with this amp. I was originally thinking 2 10" but after reading some differant posts I may go with just one. Still new to this so I welcome the advice. The specs on the amp are:
100w x 2@4ohms
145w x2@2ohms
300w x1@4ohms (bridged)

That's not much power. Maybe rockford fosgate prime series or P1's or Kicker entry level.

For some people it does. When I was a teenager I couldn't care less how good the sound quality was. As long as the sound was big I was happy.

Not to be mistaken, I do feel the same way about it as you. Today I find myself looking to replace my 12 and 10 with a pair of 8's. I'm getting old...

Sundown audio makes an entry level sub that's only like $150 and doesn't take much power to run

H'n'R, have you heard what high end subs sound like? They make that entry level stuff sound like garbage... Just because it says "1000WATTS KAPPOW! SO MUCH POWER!" doesn't mean it's worth a damn.

I went with a high-end RE Audio sub, but if I was looking for a cheaper entry level sub, Sundown is the way to go.

Re: Best Sub(s) for my $$

I have an re audio seX 10 in my wifes car and it sounds great. If you look around on sonic electronics they usually have sale going for them. Its the best sub for the money in my opinion, but your amp will be to small to run it at its full potential.
