2008 Nissan Titan Nav System

Does the 2008 Nissan Titan Nav System fit a 2004 Titan, also would like to know if the A/C controls would work also. It comes with everything needed for the install, HU, Screen, Nav System and bezel.

I don't know if it would work or not. But I think you would need more stuff than what you list, such as harness, GPS antenna, display controller, and maybe the RF HU. There are also different face plates for the HU with NAV controls depending on whether or not you have the rear DVD.

Re: 2008 Nissan Titan Nav System

Nissan is now in bed with Garmin making aftermarket Nuvi's that mount on a special dash bracket and powered without an external power cord hanging down.Kit will be available at your dealer this month, including a new dash finisher and all mounting hardware, unit is still portable for transfer to another car,if another Nissan, get the mounting kit for that model, very clean install, would definetely consider this before attempting to try and replicate an in-dash OEM system.Check it out,you will be surprised.

Re: 2008 Nissan Titan Nav System

It does come with everything, complete console with nav unit, nav screen, A/C controls, center channel speaker, etc...
It came off from a 2008 Titan, i have a 2004 Titan with the RF HU, without nav system and want to upgrade, also i like the new style and the dual control for the A/C. the only thing that is missing is the Antenna I think.

Re: 2008 Nissan Titan Nav System

Not sure if the middle dash area will even fit the 04 as it has change a little.
Plus all that A/C control stuffs is now wired differently than the 04-07, I doubt it will be easy install if even possible.

Do you happen to know which Nuvi model the kit is designed to work with? I was looking at getting a Nuvi 5000. It has a composite video input which can be used with a back-up camera. Maybe this is a generic mount? I think all the Nuvis have the same ball/socket mount. Do you have any pics?

EDIT: Sorry, this was a bit off-topic...
