Thanks....

4 weeks is still pretty fast for all the work I did.

I figured the least I could do is share what I've done because before I bought my truck I lurked on this site to hear what everyone's problems were. I also looked up everything I could in order to plan the install before I started...that helped a lot. TT Rules!

Well here are some more pictures of my hard work.

I just picked up and installed a couple of my interior pieces today....like I didn't already have enough to do (Leaving for OBX tomorrow morning). Anyway I got the radio bezel, the gauge bezel and the four door trim finishers painted in Satin Silver Metallic (Honda color). The painter did a real good job and am happy with them. Since I got the radio bezel back I finished the mounting of the PAC SWIX infared sensor directly above my Alpine's remote reciever. This works out perfect and I have zero problems, doesn't get drown out in sunlight, don't have to bounce it off anything. I recommend that if you can mount your PAC SWIX this way that it is the easiest and most efficient (by far). I simply drilled a small hole in the top part of my Metra install bracket and dremeled out a small section of the back of the install bracket to "fish" the sensor down through the top. This way you do not even see that anything strange has been mounted.

Good choice on deck and speakers... I have an older CDA-7995. I put the Polk DB components in also. (run off a JBL 75.4)

Do you find that the Polks lack low end? I feel they should be louder on the low end (like my last set of DBs).

The Polks have good midbass.....but not great. But for the money they are a great deal and my MASS makes up for any lack of midbass.

What all do you have hooked up to your battery terminals? Do you have 1 power wire to your amps, distributed at a block, or does each have its own wire? Also what is the second connection to the negative terminal?

Positive terminal: factory fused battery block and 1/0 power to distr. block
Negative terminal: factory ground and 1/0 ground (will also be adding additional 1/0 ground wires next week, battery to chassis, chassis to engine block)

Nice work. I'm looking for an Alpine 9835 right now, then I'll be in for a similar amount of fun!
