Sportster mount

I think one time I saw a mount for the sportster that used the mounting screw for the hu and came out beside the face plate. Anyone remember this?I did a search but did't find anything.
A friend at work let BB install his and they put the ant on the dash and used double sided tape to mount the radio to the dash. He has the nav unit so the put it next to it at a wierd angle. Any help or ideas

I know some people use the 4x4 selector blank to mount their MP3 player, would that work for your friend?

I got mine mounted via the HU screw and a bracketron titan mount that mounts to the left of the head unit, I love the position it is close to me within easy glance yet non distracting when driving, will post a pix tomorrow when it's light out....
