Better give your back seat passengers a good safety brief about where not to put their feet. Bet it sounds good.

You should order the 8W7 grille from your dealer.

nice man

why didnt you make use of the tranny area for more airspace?

My 8" sub box was built lke that (its still in my garage)

very nice job though

I bet you really like the dub 7's

may I ask why you decided to place them closer to the middle instead of centering them in the box??

security purposes?? or did you determine they would sound better like that?

I didn't use the airspace over the tranny hump yet because the boxes are both 1.25cuft which the speakers call for and they are really easy to take outta the truck. In the final fiberglass version the ports will be over the tranny hump and the whole length under the seat will be used, the speakers will then be centered on each side.

All I have to say about the 8"w7's is that one by itself sounds like a 12" w0 haha , I still don't have the full system up and running (waiting on amps jl1000/1 and jl 450/4) trying to find the best price on them. For some reason on this system i'm taking forever to get finished ever since I installed the kenwood i've been happy haha

I still don't think there is enough space in the KC, :P Maybe though....but the boxes that are almost pushing against the seat are only .75 cf
