PS2 DC to DC converter- No AC inverter needed

I was scouring the internet for an 8.4v 5.65amp DC to DC converter, or a company that could make one, and I finally found one made for the slim PS2. It lets you use a 12vdc input and gives you an 8.4vdc output so you can run a SLIM ps2 without a power inverter. Wont work on the standard PS2, since the power supply is internal. I was getting to much audio feedback from mine and wanted to bypass it. I'm going to hardwire a 12v socket under my passenger seat where I have the ps2.

Model is Intec G7690.
Best deal I found was $8.05 at Monstronix.com, but do a google search and knock yourself out.
