Sirius installed

Ok i put the sirius sportster in this weekend. My deck (Rockford fosgate cd/mp3) didn't have an aux inp so I had to use the FM modulator. Is it normal to get a bit of what sounds like white noise coming from the source. If so, does the line out fix this issue. I really like the programming, but I am not impressed with the sound quality.

I just got the Sirius two weeks ago. I use the AUX jack and I do not experience any excessive background noise. The problem with the AUX jack and the Sirius receiver is the mismatch in audio levels. The Sirius is much lower compared to the CD or FM level. I have max'd out the receiver output level. I need to get a PIE amplifier to boost the level. Since I listen to music at a fairly loud volume, if I switch to CD it will scare the c*** out of you if your not careful.

I'm trying to find a good place to mount the receiver. I've search here and found a few options but I'm still thinking about my options.

Where did you find the correct audio aux. cable to go from Sirius to Nissan aux. jack?

You should be able to find one at any electronics store. They call it the mini (1/4") to RCA cable. At Circut City they had them in the computer section. If you are going to go that route I would also get the in line booster. Radio shack has one that will boost the line out signal so you can better match the Sirrus box.
